The kids and I participated in one of the coolest events ever this weekend.  Relay For Life celebrates the lives of cancer survivors, remembers those that have lost their battle with cancer and fights back against this awful disease.  This year was especially meaningful as we have BIG reasons to celebrate!

Jett’s getting a new room soon and is REALLY excited about it because he got to pick the paint.  He has been asking for a blue room for a while now and the dream is almost a reality!

We spent April Fools day at the park…we were fooled into thinking it’s spring!  The cold weather came in the next day :(

We spent a couple of days in Palm Springs for a fun little getaway with Momo and Auntie.  The kids were up at 7am ready to hit the pool…and this little fish loved every second!

It’s funny how pictures can fool you.  This looks like a nice, organized game of Trouble.  Don’t let it fool you…there was a LOT of cheating going on.

It’s nice that after a long day of battling, Darth Vador and The Emperor can rest in peace together.  I love happy endings.

Did I mention my fun new stroller holds 3 kids?  Drew joined us for a trip to the farmers market this weekend and hopped on board.  The Queen was very happy in her throne up front :)

Jett’s best bud Braden came over for a bit today.  They decided to play “bad guys” with Jett’s characters but it was quickly determined that the little girl with the lollipop was the bad guy after she ran off with too many of their toys!

We go on walks as many times as we can each week with our pal Colt.  Colt is rad for so many reasons but one of the best is the fact that homeboy ALWAYS shares his Cheetos.  You can see that makes Jett so happy!

I think Lila went down the slide about 600 times today.  The child has a serious slide addiction.

At about 8 o’clock the other night Jett decided he needed to go find some horses to feed some carrots to.  Ridiculous idea, I know, but Papa loaded up the golf cart and off they went in search of some equine.

Day 80

Lila’s new favorite game is to turn of the playstation right in the middle of Jett’s game.  Needless to say Jett doesn’t love the game as much as Lila.  He’s taken it upon himself to remove this little girl anytime she gets close to his game…you can see she thinks the whole thing is REALLY hilarious!  The best part is that Jett never gets mad at her- he just yells “emergency!” as he whisks her away.  We might need to have a little chat about what a “real” emergency is soon.

I know it’s not officially summer but it sure feels like it!  A day at the park with some starbucks for the girls…can’t think of a better Saturday!

So, Sean and Jett were playing Lego batman and apparently Sean built a batman with the wrong face.  Jett told him he needed THIS face.

Ethan’s baseball season is in full swing.  We headed out to the field to root him on.  After we left Jett told me that he REALLY wanted to play baseball too.  I told him that sounds great- did he want to hit the ball?  Play catch?  Run around the bases? 

He looked at me like I was crazy and said “Noooooo…I want to play baseball so everyone says ‘YAY JETT!!!”

These are the much waited for, much longed for Jenga Fett and Bobo Fett.  They have not left Jett’s chubby little grip since he got them.

We had the family over today to celebrate Jett’s birthday.  It was a perfect day for the birthday boy…Jett got his much longed for Jenga and Bobo Fett and Drew was thrilled with the cupcakes :)  A great time for everyone!

Day 71

It’s doesn’t seem like that long ago that a new Betsy Johnson purse would make me SO happy.  Or a great new pair of jeans….a fabulous new pair of sunglasses.  You get the idea.

Now?  A stroller makes me about as happy. 

That is both pathetic and embarrassing.

BUT seriously, I’ve never been so excited about a new stroller.  Jett and Lila love it too…Lila’s favorite thing in the whole world is to go “buh bye” – anywhere works for her, she’s not picky!  And Jett likes to kick back and enjoy a long walk too.  It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
